Dandelion Discovery Village and HR/OD aim to create a positive and lasting impact on community health. 

Our WHY is rooted in the belief that substance use is not just a personal issue, but a community-wide challenge that affects families, neighborhoods, and broader societal structures.  By bringing together diverse non-profits and organizations that focus on health, prevention, education, recovery, and overall community health for humans and animals alike we believe that united we can create a revolution in community balance.  Building a “village” dedicated to helping individuals within our community by focusing on a person’s well-being and fostering a sense of belonging, responsibility and collective care.  The building blocks of such a “village” will be centered around individuals of lived experience, using their passion for life and recovery to help the community as a whole. 

At its heart, Dandelion Discovery Village and HR/OD’s mission reflects a commitment to human dignity, offering people the tools, knowledge, and opportunities they need to reclaim their lives and build healthier, more resilient communities.  It’s about more than sobriety and treatment; it’s about providing a comprehensive support system that nurtures every aspect of an individual’s and non-profits’ journey towards healing and empowerment.
